The Embody Lab cannot make assurances that the qualifications or services of any therapist or practitioner listed on this site would be suitable for the needs of a particular individual. Users of The Embody Lab Directory understand and agree that The Embody Lab is neither liable nor responsible for any actions of those using or choosing to list on this registry.

It is your responsibility to evaluate the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any information, opinion, advice or other content available through the Site. Please seek the advice of professionals, as appropriate, regarding the evaluation of any specific information, opinion, advice or other content. Never disregard professional advice, including medical advice, or delay in seeking it, because of something you have read on this Site.

Therapists and practitioners are solely responsible for the content of any posting they make to the Site and any consequences arising from such posting. We assume no responsibility for materials posted by our users or any other actions, conduct or omissions of our users. We act as a service provider for users to list their services and materials. We do not undertake responsibility for screening or monitoring our users' materials.

We do not represent or endorse, and nothing on the Site shall be deemed to be an endorsement, representation or warranty of, any third party (including our directory members), whether in relation to such third party's products, services, websites, experience or background or otherwise. We do not make any representations or warranties with regard to any materials posted by our directory members, and the information in our directories is provided exclusively by participating directory members. When you see the "Verified" tick, it means we have made reasonable efforts to verify:

  • The name and contact details provided by the directory member.

  • Viewed copies of the qualifications and certificates cited by the directory member.

  • We verify the information at the time the directory member is initially listed in our directory.

Rules of Conduct for all site users

The Embody Lab is the sole interpreter of the Rules of Conduct described in these Terms of Use. Any user who violates these rules may have their profile removed and use of the Site suspended or terminated at our discretion. The Embody Lab reserves the right to take any action at any time with regard to user materials that we deem in our sole discretion to be necessary or appropriate.


Posting Rules - Directory Members

Materials you post to the Site may not contain: 

  • Any material that you are not authorized to use. This includes copyrighted material (unless you own the copyright or have the owner's permission to post the copyrighted material), trade secrets (unless you own them or have the owner's permission to post them); and any other material that infringes on or misappropriates any other intellectual property rights, or violates the privacy or publicity rights of others.

  • Anything that is sexually explicit, obscene, libelous, defamatory, threatening, harassing, abusive, or hateful; anything that is embarrassing or offensive to another person, group or entity.

  • False, inaccurate or misleading information, or information that impersonates another person (living or dead).

  • Anything that requires a monetary investment other than payment for the therapeutic services you provide. This includes any requests for payment to obtain employment, post chain letters or pyramid schemes.

The Embody Lab is under no obligation to monitor the materials posted on its site but it retains the right to do so and any material that violates these rules may result in the removal of that material and the suspension or termination of the account with no remedies payable to the user. We are not required to make any such investigation or to remove any user materials, and we will not be liable to any user for taking or not taking such actions.


Conduct Rules - All Users

You may not respond to postings by Directory Members in any manner or for any purpose other than that which is expected. Responses soliciting business are prohibited. This includes sending unsolicited commercial email to our listed practitioners and therapists.

Report inappropriate postings or conduct to info@theembodylab.com.

Any conduct by a user that in our sole discretion restricts or inhibits any other user from using or enjoying the Site is prohibited.

We are under no obligation to monitor the conduct of our users, but we may investigate and respond when violations are reported.


Registration Rules

Directory Members wishing to create a profile in the directory (or submit content for blogs etc), will be required to register. We will request information from you, including your name and email, for your registration. You must provide us with true and accurate registration information. We will not share your registration information with third parties, except as necessary to provide you with services you request or with your permission as provided in the 


Site Privacy Policy

Directory Members will have a username and password assigned. You may not share your account, user name or password with anyone else, and you will be responsible for the actions of anyone who obtains your user name and/or password and uses them to access the Site. You must notify us at info@theembodylab.com immediately of any unauthorized use of your user name and password.

If at any time during the term of this agreement we come to the understanding that you misled us as to your business practices and/or services we reserve the right to terminate your account. We may terminate your account and/or your access to the Site at any time if we deem in our sole discretion such to be necessary or appropriate.

When contacting a Directory Member users will provide the following information (this will be available only to the requested Directory Member chosen by the user):

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Telephone number

  • A free-format message to the Directory Member. The Embody Lab will not request or require any personal health information to be shared.

Users and those Directory Members will be added to The Embody Lab’s email communications. All marketing emails will provide an option to unsubscribe and your contact details will not be shared to any third party.
